About

I’m a relief worker for a large international NGO on a six-week deployement to Haiti. It’s the first emergency I’ve worked on ‘in the field’, and this blog is sharing some of my impressions and thoughts for friends and families back home who are kind enough to read them. All opinions and views expressed in this blog are entirely my own (unless otherwise stated) and are not the views of the organisation I work for, or anyone else.

Hi Phillida,
I have been reading some of your blog and the work you are doing is amazing and commendable. I am a student at McGill University in Canada and together with a few friends of mine, we have been putting together a site called, “Voice For Haiti.” We even were able to use some of the information you wrote about Bolette in one of our more recent articles! If you get a chance, feel free to check out the site and make some comments on personal experiences from your work in Haiti. http://www.voiceforhaiti.com
Keep up the great work
